Not my most eventful trip ever. But everything doesn’t always go to plan does it. Poitín is hard stuff, not to many Irish would go near it now. I love the old thoughts on it, you should light it first. If the flame is red you drink it, but if blue you use it on sore joints. In other words it’s poison. I doubt the plants made it. I’ve seen what it does to people. Wild Atlantic way is magnificent. I’ve still a little bit to do but I’ve seen most of it. It doesn’t disappoint. Thanks for visiting my page again.
When bad weather greets our travels, we must embrace it. Beautiful photos of the water and reflections. We visited a friend near Ballina in 1977. Turns out she had a still down near the water and we were "treated????" to a tumbler of her poteen with a wee drop of orange in it. We sipped gingerly and her fe house plants became the beneficiary of this liquid. Not sue if they survived. We love the Wild Atlantic Way. It is as advertised. Thanks for the post.
