We enjoyed our visit to Budapest but did not get out into wine country. And I did not know there was a UNESCO region for wine. I love the idea of doing a wine and spa vacation! I agree that wine tasting is always better with a food pairing. Amazing how different the wine can taste. How interesting to see the stork nests on the top of the poles! I could see us doing a day trip to the Boldogko Castle. That watchtower walk is exactly our kind of thing. Saved it for when we get back to Hungary.
