Love all these lights, John! The ones at the zoo are very intriguing and different! Edinburgh Zoo does a yearly lanterns event too and they always have different themes. The year I went, it was dinosaurs! Love the woodland walk ones too. Is it me or are more and more Christmas events popping up in recent years? I’m sure we never used to have light festivals and markets and light-up events.

I never would have thought about Dublin for a Christmas visit. Wild Lights at the zoo looks like fun for a different experience. Christmas markets and Farmleigh would be enjoyable but seeing who shows up for busking tops the list for me.

Dublin looks magical for Christmas! I would see the lights from a horse drawn carriage and duck out of the cold for some delicious chocolate concoctions at Bewley’s Cafe or Butlers Chocolate. Dublin was not on my Christmas radar, but now it is.

Dublin looks like it has a great variety of activities and decorations to celebrate the Christmas season. The 12 pubs of Christmas sounded fun to me until reading that it’s all in one go. I was thinking it would be like the 12 nights of Christmas with one pub per night. Think perhaps my age is catching up with me.
